So, who exactly is Asya Hunter? Well, she is a fashion designer, fashion illustrator, and graphic designer. She combines technology, various mediums, and creativity to showcase her skills and clienteles’ visions. The passion for fashion dates to her childhood when she used to draw dresses from Barbie. Later, in her teens she drew charcoal portrait commissions for her dad’s friends. It was then she realized she had a gift. Over time her skills developed and when she attended college, she knew she wanted to major in art. From there she excelled more with the help of many encouraging professors. She has been featured on the panel of Harlem Fashion Row seminars and has worked in multiple films as a costume design assistant. Asya has also created her own personal fashion brand called Azzyae which she plans on expanding in the near future.
